PARISH MISSION STATEMENT

The people of Corpus Christi Parish strive to live the Gospel of Jesus.  It is our mission to touch the lives of others with God’s loving presence.  We achieve this through.

· Understanding that we are integral, active and supportive members both of the diocese of Evansville and of the Universal Church.

· Recognizing that we exist to serve others and to provide for the spiritual needs of the young and the elderly, single people and families, and those with special needs, including the unborn, the weak, the poor, the helpless, and those who are no longer active in parish life.

· Engaging in collaborative ministry utilizing the gifts and talents of the ordained and religious, and the people of the parish all of whom give of themselves through sharing their time, talent and treasures.

· Reaching out in welcome to the growing population of our area, with special concern for young adults, for those who are new to our parish, and for visitors.

· Providing appropriate educational programs for every age group, which emphasize religious values and excellence.

· Looking toward the future with hope and a willingness to work to provide the best programs and facilities for growth and expansion.
